Labor Day Fun!

The Means/ Madden clan had a great weekend up in Mountaintop for the Labor Day long weekend. Lots of family time, fun dinners, golf and great weather.

American Adventures

Today Gogo and Mom took Reese and I to American Adventures! It is kind of like a Six Flags for the younger crowd. I was a little timid at first, but after my first ride I was hooked! I was actually a little bored of the kiddie/ ride alone rides and prefered the "thrill" rides, like the roller coaster and the scrabbler. It was a total "Wally World" experience. There were probably 3 other groups there, so I basically had the whole place to myself. My tour guide Jasmine let me ride whichever ride I wanted to and as much as I wanted. It was an awesome way to spend a morning. Oh, and Reese had fun to.

Recently, Andy has taken to our digital camera. Probably not the best idea to let your 2 1/2 year old roam the house and yard with pricey electronics...but, he seems to really enjoy it. These are a few of his best shots (3 out of about 50 total made the cut).

A cool place for a hot day

It's August and mom is 9 1/2 months pregnant, so where do we go? Imagine It! The Children's Museum. Andy and I had a great "date" last Monday as we ventured downtown to have some indoor fun. It has been fun having lots of one-on-one time before baby #2 arrives.

Andy's new thing is opposites. "Mom, is this hot or cold?"

Family Weekend at Mountaintop

The Maddens, Dunlaps and Hamiltons headed up to Mountaintop, in Cashiers, for a fun-filled family weekend. The kiddos were the center of attention and loved having a weekend to hang out with each other. The weekend included trips to the playground, playing on the putting green and lawn and exploring around the house. The parents managed to sneak away for dinner on Saturday night (which included having 2 sitters for the kids). The adults needed the night away!
